YESTERYEARS
75 YEARS AGO: Modesto youths Norman Olds, Jack Morrison and Gaylord Taylor were chosen for the National Youth Administration construction project at Lake Tahoe. While there, they would help 72 other youths construct a 4-H camp, sponsored by the agricultural extension service. Half of their day was spent building structures and the other half was spent learning all phases of woodworking and building construction.
