Expressions Youth Choirs offers 'Peter Pan' at Johansen High

Expressions Youth Choirs will present a musical production of “Peter Pan” on Thursday and Friday at Johansen High School. The cast – Modesto-area students ranging from fourth-graders to newly graduated high school seniors – has been working on the show for two weeks. Set in London and the magical Neverland, the show stars Peter Pan, nemesis Capt. Hook, the Lost Boys, Hook’s pirate crew, a few rough-and-tumble Indians, and Wendy and the rest of the Darling family. “They can’t wait to take you and your families on a journey from the second star to the right and straight on till morning,” according to a news release. Showtimes are at 7:30 p.m. The production will be held in the Eleanor McKnight Haines Theatre at Johansen High School on Norseman Drive. Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for students.
