Info: The Healthy Aging Association offers free Young At Heart group exercise classes for 50 years and better. The strength training classes uses exertubes for resistance and the exercises can be done standing or sitting, depending on the participant’s ability. YESTERYEARS
25 YEARS AGO: The Patterson City Council approved the creation of a new 1½ acre park on Nicastro Drive, in the Golden Estates subdivision. Suggested names were Sunflower or Nicastro park and construction was to begin in mid-August, with a price tag of $95,474.
