MoBand season kicks off

It was blankets and friends and picnics – oh, and music – Thursday night as MoBand kicked off its season. The weekly concerts at Graceada Park have become a cherished Modesto tradition. Once again, fans were out early in the day to mark off spots with blankets and tent stakes. Cindy Holman, staking her claim a little before 7 a.m., said the lawn seems to fill up with fabric earlier each year.
