What: US Too Prostate Cancer Support Group

Where: Sutter Memorial Conference Center, 1700 McHenry Ave., Suite 60B

Info: Program features Tai Chi instructor Anne Robinson. She works mainly with older adults and those with significant health problems. Tai Chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements. Both are known to be important to wellness. Come in comfortable clothes, prepared to join in a “meditation in motion” experience. Newcomers are welcome. The program ends with snacks and socializing. Info: A lecture on “Habitat Fragmentation and Restoration at the Antioch Dunes National Wildlife Refuge” presented by Alison McNally, Professor of Geography, CSU Stanislaus State. This

talk will focus on variables that have contributed to habitat decline and steps the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and its partners are taking to restore habitat flora and fauna. The colloquium is free and open to the public. There is a $2 charge for on-campus parking without a permit. A panel of the Sierra Club’s Yokuts Group members will choose the winner. Preference will be given to college/university students living, working, or attending school in Stanislaus County. Info: Half Dome Permits for Day Hikers, preseason lottery will open on March 13 at 7 a.m. and close on March 31 at 9 p.m. New for 2019: Applicants may be a permit holder (trip leader) or alternate only once on only one application during the preseason lottery.
