Info: Free lecture, “Periodic Table Milestones and Real and Fake Elements,” by Steven Murov, Professor Emeritus of Chemistry, Modesto Junior College. The presentation in honor of the 150th anniversary of the Mendeleev periodic table. The talk will include demos and be based in part on Professor Murov’s website, http://murov.info/timelines.htm. Info: The Knights Ferry Community Club will be hosting its annual spaghetti dinner during the Civil War Re-enactments on the weekend of March 23 and 24th. The funds raised at this event will help with the cost of the club’s building insurance, utilities, and basic expenses. The dinner includes, dessert and beverage.
