YESTERYEARS
75 YEARS AGO: The Modesto Junior Chamber of Commerce announced it had selected four Modesto residents and one Turlock resident to compete in the state championship for model airplanes in Livermore. They were Frank Ramsey, George Genevro, Howard Trueman, Phil Supan and Gus Tsaprails. The top two moved on to the national competition in Detroit.
