Sheriff’s Department investigating body found in canal near Keyes
Deputies from the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a canal near Keyes.
Emergency responders received a call of a body in a canal near the intersection of Faith Home and Keyes roads at around 8 a.m.
The body was lodged in the canal and remained there as of 8:50 a.m.
The scene was marked off with crime scene tape.
