Latino community members in Modesto gather Tuesday afternoon at El Concilio on H Street to celebrate the stories of DREAMers and their families, and to call on Republicans to stop attacks against President Barack Obama’s deferred action initiatives in Congress and in the courts. May 19 would have been the day parents of U.S. citizens could apply to delay deportation and get work authorization.
