Coroner searching for family of woman who died in 1997
The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office is looking for the family of a woman who died in 1997.
The cremains of Mary Elizabeth Smith, who was 81 when she passed, were found in the home of her husband Ronnie Smith when he died earlier this month. A cousin of Ronnie Smith took responsibility for his burial but did not want Mary Smith’s cremains.
