Man killed in Patterson rollover accident
A man was killed in a fatal rollover accident early Saturday morning in Patterson.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to a call 2 a.m. Saturday for a crash on Sperry Avenue, just east of Ward Avenue.
CHP Sgt. Daniel Zills said a 2009 Nissan was traveling west on Sperry at high speed when the driver lost control and went off the road. The vehicle overturned into a Walgreens parking lot.
Zills said the 27-year-old male driver, who was alone in the car, was not wearing a seat belt and alcohol may have been a factor. The name of the driver is being withheld pending notification of family.
The CHP is still investigating the crash.
