“Heroes” gather at Modesto’s Oregon Park

Stanislaus County’s Police Activities League gathered community youth at Oregon Park on Saturday for a “Heroes At the Park” event, with several kids dressing up as superheroes to attend. The youth outreach program sought to send the message that there’s a hero in everyone, and to help the children learn positive behavior that they can carry throughout their lives. Several outreach organizations also participated in the program in Modesto’s Airport District.
