Modesto mobile home heavily damaged by fire
Modesto firefighters battled a mobile home blaze on Monday night after being called out to a trailer park on Yosemite Lane.
No people were injured, but 17 cats and one dog were found dead after the fire was put out, according to a Modesto Fire Department Facebook post.
Units from the Modesto Fire Department and Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District responded to the blaze just after 9 p.m. at Holiday Manor Mobile Home Park on Yosemite Ave.
The first arriving unit found a single-wide trailer well involved with fire. The mobile home suffered major damage.
Luckily, no one was home at the time of the blaze.
