Love cars? Turlock is place to meet, swap this weekend

Car lovers, hobbyists and collectors converged Saturday at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds for the Modesto Area A’s annual Turlock Swap Meet. Parts, cars, memorabilia and other auto-related items are for sale at the event, which continues from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28. The Modesto Area A’s have held the meet since 1965. The club is a chapter of the Model A Ford Club of America.
