Update: Modesto police find missing 19-year-old with autism

Update: Michael Rodriguez has been found at the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Coffee Road.

Original story follows: Modesto police are searching for a 19-year-old man with autism who went missing early Monday in the area of Encina and El Vista avenues.

Michael Rodriguez was last seen about 4 a.m. walking north on Oakdale Road toward Briggsmore Avenue, said Modesto police Lt. Martha Delgado. He was wearing blue shorts with a burgundy stripe on the side, blue shoes and no shirt. He stands 5-foot-9, weights about 205 pounds and has dark, wavy hair.

No photograph of Rodriguez was immediately available.

He speaks very little, Delgado said.

Anyone who sees Rodriguez is asked to call 911.
