Driver trapped in vehicle after crash on Modesto's Yosemite Boulevard
A woman was trapped inside her vehicle on Yosemite Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon after her minivan was broadsided.
The impact, at the intersection of Riverside Drive, then sent the minivan into telephone pole, said Stanislaus Consolidated Consolidated Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Kevin Wise.
It took firefighters about 10 minutes to extricate the woman, who suffered moderate injuries and was taken to ambulance to a local hospital.
The female driver of the other vehicle suffered a laceration to her hand and was treated at the scene.
