What: Central Valley Democratic Club Meeting

When: Monday, 6:45 p.m.

Where: McHenry Bowl - South Hall, 3700 McHenry Ave.

Info: The Central Valley Democratic Club will be meeting to discuss current political topics and meeting with local candidates running in the Nov. 7 Elections. What: Mended Hearts Support Group

When: Tuesday, 2:30 p.m.

Where: Memorial Medical Plaza,1800 Coffee Road, Suite 62

Info: Mended Hearts is a free support group with volunteers who have been through a heart event. They provide support and help to others facing the same experience. The Mended Hearts mission is "inspiring hope and improving the quality of life for heart patients and their families through ongoing peer-to-peer support." The goal is to help people understand that there can be a rich, rewarding life after a heart disease diagnosis. What: Help plan renovation of Ralston Tower park

When: Wednesday, 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Where: Senior Citizens Center, 211 Bodem St.

Info: This design workshop will focus on the proposed improvements to the park and discuss the concept designs for the park. For more information, contact Jason Ortega at 209-577-5437.

What: Sons In Retirement Meeting

When: Thursday, 10:15 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: The Seasons, 945 McHenry Ave.

Info: The Sons in Retirement, Branch 144, Luncheon will feature our speaker,County Supervisor Dick Montieth. He will speak about "Why get into Politics". Sons in Retirement is a club for retired men who meet to renew friendships , discuss issues and plan participation in activities such as golf, bowling, pickleball, dining and traveling. What: Latino Emergency Council Meeting

When: Friday, 8:15 a.m.

Where: El Concilio Community Center, 1314 H Street
