Spotted this missing Modesto man? Call 911

Modesto police are seeking the public's help in finding a missing 69-year-old man who suffers dementia.

Able Loya was last seen at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Yosemite Boulevard and South Santa Cruz Avenue in the airport neighborhood, police said.

He was wearing a plaid, short-sleeve button shirt and black jeans. He is 5-foot-6, about 120 pounds, with gray, balding hair and a gray beard and mustache.

Anyone who sees him is urged to call 911.

According to Modesto Police Department spokeswoman Heather Graves, Loya was reported missing last year from his residence in that neighborhood. It was unknown where he ended up last year.



This time he was last seen on Yosemite by a family member who waited several hours to call police.
