20,000 pounds of almonds spill at busy Ripon intersection
Some 20,000 pounds of almonds spilled into a busy intersection in Ripon Wednesday morning when the tractor trailer hauling them overturned.
The trailer overturned while the driver negotiated a turn at Jack Tone Road and Main Street.
No one was in injured in the crash. Part of in the intersection was blocked while crews cleaned up the spilled almonds.
