Vegetation fires Saturday night near Creekside Golf Course
Fire crews were battling a series of vegetation fires Saturday night at Dry Creek alongside Creekside Golf Course in Modesto.
A Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District firefighter on scene about 8:30 p.m. said there were at least four small fires burning at that time along a hiking/biking trail at Dry Creek, adjacent to the golf course in east Modesto.
Fire investigators were on the scene, he said.
