2 wounded in airport neighborhood shooting not cooperating with authorities
Two men were shot Saturday afternoon in Modesto’s airport neighborhood. They were taken to the hospital, and their wounds are not life threatening, according to authorities.
Stanislaus County sheriff’s Sgt. Bruce Mitchell said the shootings were reported about 3:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Angle Lane. He said the men were shot outside. He said they were not cooperating with authorities.
“They refused to identify the suspect,” Mitchell said.
