MoPride moves to John Thurman Field

MoPride’s annual Pride in the Park has entered a whole new ballgame — well, ballpark at least. The LGBT pride event moved from its longtime home in Graceada Park to John Thurman Field this year. The event will featured live entertainment, a beer garden, kids zone and vendor booths. The festival is a fundraiser for the nonprofit MoPride group, which supports the area’s LGBT community. MoPride opened the Central Valley Pride Center in the past year in downtown Modesto.
