Vehicle hits wall, ends up in backyard of Village I home in Modesto
A vehicle slammed through a cinder-block wall early Friday and ended up in a home’s backyard in Village I, the large housing development in east Modesto.
Modesto Fire Department Battalion Chief Randy Anderson said firefighters were dispatched at 1:48 a.m. to Millbrook and Floyd avenues. He said there were no injuries to the two people in the vehicle and the home’s occupants.
He said the vehicle was eastbound on Floyd as it turned north onto Millbrook and hit the wall.
The Police Department’s watch commander could not be reached for comment Friday night, and no additional information was available.
Several weeks ago, a vehicle crashed into the wall on the intersection’s northwest side.
