Info: The Stanislaus Asian American Community Resource will be having a free community picnic that will feature Asian food, Yoga and Meditation demonstrations and games for kids. SAACR a nonprofit organization whose members speak Lao, Vietnamese, Hmong, Cambodian, Chinese, Indian and Tagalog. Info: The Motherlode Dairy Goat Association invites the public to its show. The show serves as a sanctioned event of the American Dairy Goat Association, the organization sets industry standards for dairy goats. 75 YEARS AGO: The Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors accepted the offer of the federal government to pay $1,153.94 in lieu of taxes for the government’s migratory labor camps in Ceres and Westley. Supervisors also ratified an agreement with the Oakdale Irrigation District to have the district take over tax delinquent land and resell it; and effective July 1, the salary of the clerk in the purchasing agent’s office was increased from $85 to $100 a month.
