Police: Car clips bus on McHenry Avenue in Modesto; minor injury to car driver

A driver suffered minor injuries when his car clipped a city bus on McHenry Avenue in Modesto on Tuesday evening, police said.

The accident happened at about 7 p.m. in the southbound lanes just south of Roseburg Avenue. Police said the unidentified driver was weaving through traffic when the Toyota Celica hit the left rear corner of the Modesto Area Express bus.

The Celica driver was transported to a hospital. No one was injured on the bus, which had slight damage and was removed from service.
