Info: The Mid-Valley Car Club will be taking part in activities that celebrates Modesto’s history Graffiti during the month of June. What: Senior Nutrition Coupon Distribution
When: Thursday, 8 to 10 a.m.
Where: Modesto Farmer’s Market, 1500 I Street
Info: The Area Agency on Aging will be distributing Senior Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program Coupons at area farmer’s markets. The first distribution day will be at the Modesto Farmer’s Market adjacent to the downtown Modesto Branch of the Stanislaus County Library. To recieve a coupons, seniors must be: 60 or older and have a limited income - $1,832 mo/1 or $2,470 mo/2. The coupons will be given out on a first come first serve basis. They may only be used at a certified farmers’ market. Please only one booklet per person/year. Each booklet contains a total of $20 worth of coupons to buy fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and honey. What: Operation 9-2-99 Cleanup
When: Saturday, 8 to 11 a.m.
Where: The Hut off of B St. between 7th St. and 9th St.
Info: The next Operation 9-2-99 cleanup is on Saturday, from 8 to 11 a.m. at The Hut off of B St. between 7th St. and 9th St. behind the furniture store on the north bank of the river. The website at http://tinyurl.com/operation9-2-99 has all the details. The website is the best place for volunteers to sign up and has details, including a map about the next cleanup. Volunteers under the age of 18 need a parent signed waiver form that is available on the website and should be completed in advance.

Info: The American Red Cross is seeking the public’s help in maintaining its blood supply. What: Livingston Certified Farmers Market and Street Fair

Info: The City of Livingston will host it’s very first Certified Farmers Market and Street Fair every Thursday starting June 8 through till October 26 from 5 to 9 p.m. There will be local produce, entertainment, merchandise, crafts, food vendors, informational booths and aKid’s Zone. There are also vendor spaces still available at $20 per week or $60 per month and all food vendors must get proper permits. Info: The Modesto Area Squad Club invites the public to a drive-thru dinner in support of minor league football player David Delgado of the Merced County Jets. Delgago suffered a spinal cord injury in a game against the Fresno Cen-Cal-So team on April 3. All proceeds of the dinner go to helping to pay medical expenses and recovery costs for Delgado.
