What: Livingston Certified Farmers Market and Street Fair

Where: Downtown Livingston, Main Street
Info: The city of Livingston will host its first Certified Farmers Market and Street Fair every Thursday. There will be local produce, entertainment, merchandise, crafts, food vendors, informational booths and a kids zone. There also are vendor spaces still available at $20 per week or $60 per month and all food vendors must get proper permits. Info: The Center for Urban Performance and Service will be hosting a four-week summer dance and music intensive this summer with a variety of classes by professional artists. Starting with Musical Theatre week, the second week, Resonate, focuses on urban styles of dance such as hip-hop, and weeks 3 and 4 will focus on ballet, jazz and more. Dancers of all ages and levels are welcome to attend these master classes with some of the. A Summer Fest will be held Thursday, June 29, at Turlock Community Theatre, exhibiting the various dances that were learned over summer. 100 YEARS AGO: The Moss Rose parlor had a special sale on brick ice cream for Saturday and Sunday. The parlor offered vanilla, strawberry and burnt almond as the flavors they offered. A pint was 25 cents and a quart was $50 cents. Home delivery was available. The location of the parlor was 907 10th St., or you could call the parlor at M 1345.
