Bicyclist survives being hit and dragged by vehicle in Modesto
A 30-year-old woman was dragged by a vehicle 50 to 60 feet Wednesday evening after being hit while riding a bicycle in Modesto, police said.
The woman was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries to both legs, police said.
The vehicle driver did not see the bicycle before the 7:20 p.m. collision at the intersection of Potter and Norwegian avenues just north of Briggsmore Avenue, police said.
