Modesto Rotary club kicks in more cash for soccer complex

The Modesto Rotary Club has made a second $25,000 donation to the Stanislaus Youth Soccer League to help with the continued construction of a 14-acre complex to serve children and adults in west and south Modesto. The first donation last fall went toward the first phase of building the complex near Bellenita Park in west Modesto. More than 1,200 children as well as adult leagues began play this spring.

The second donation will allow the organization to add three or four more fields, fencing and gravel in the parking area.
