25 YEARS AGO: It was announced that a Kentucky Fried Chicken in Turlock would be treating 500 needy people to dinner on Christmas Day. The KFC owned by David and Lisa Adams planned to feed the 500 people as a way to show their two children the meaning of Christmas. The store normally would have been closed on that day, but planned to be open from 1-3 p.m. for the families that were coming for dinner.
