Holidays kick off in Modesto

Downtown Modesto was all about the holidays Saturday, with activities that included the annual Dickens Faire in and around the McHenry Mansion, featuring costumed carolers, stories of Christmases past, and a street fair with crafts and entertainment. Also Saturday was the Celebration of Lights Parade through downtown and the start of Rockin’ Holidays at Tenth Street Plaza, which features lights and retro decorations, local vendors and music.
