Top awards for osteopathic physician, Memorial Med Center
Dr. Marc Trzeciak, D.O., founding director of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics-accredited Valley Orthopedic Surgery Residency program at Doctors Medical Center, has received the 2016 Morton J. Morris, D.O., J.D. Award for Osteopathic Orthopedic Education. He picked up the award last month in Washington, D.C.
The award goes to an individual who is an active or honorary member of the academy and exemplifies Morris’ love for the Academy and furthering the education of its members.
Memorial earns Consumer Choice award
Modesto’s Memorial Medical Center, part of Northern California’s Sutter Health network of hospitals, was named the Consumer Choice Award winner by National Research Corporation for the 15th consecutive year. The annual award identifies hospitals across the United States that healthcare consumers choose as having the highest quality and image. National Research surveys more than 300,000 households in the contiguous 48 states and the District of Columbia. Hospitals named by consumers are analyzed and ranked based on Core Based Statistical Areas defined by the U.S. Census Bureau, with winning facilities being ranked the highest.
