One dead after crash on northbound Highway 99 in Modesto
The California Highway Patrol is investigating a horrific crash on Highway 99 in Modesto that left one person dead.
At about 9 p.m., a dark colored SUV hit a tow truck and went off the embankment on northbound Highway 99 between Briggsmore and Woodland avenues.
This month, analysis revealed that Highway 99 in the Central Valley is the deadliest major highway in the country.
