Michael Moore to video-conference during Modesto screening of his new Trump film

Academy Award-winning documentarian Michael Moore will Skype in for a question-and-answer session at Modesto’s State Theatre during a Thursday screening of his new film. The “Bowling for Columbine” and “Fahrenheit 9/11” filmmaker’s latest project is “Michael Moore in TrumpLand,” which is based on a one-man play by Moore that explores Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and supporters. The State in downtown Modesto will be one of only 14 independent theaters where Moore will video-conference individually to answer patron questions. The theater will have two screenings of the film, one at 7 p.m. Thursday with the Q&A, and another at 4 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $10 Thursday and $8 Friday.
