7-Eleven is counting down to Free Slurpee Day with a sweet "happy hour" deal.

Every year, on July 11 (7/11 Day), fans rush to the convenience store chain to enjoy free Slurpees. But this year, the company is making the weeks leading up to the big event just as sweet with a limited-time deal on the fan-favorite frozen slush, which it dubbed "Slurpee Drink Happy Hour."

"Slurpee Day is a can't-miss tradition for our customers, and the countdown is just as exciting as the big day," Brandon Brown, senior vice president of fresh food and beverages at 7-Eleven, Inc., shared in a statement. "Slurpee Drink Happy Hour brings that energy into every afternoon serving up a cold, craveable break and a head start on the big Slurpee Day festivities."

What to Know About 7-Eleven's Summer Slurpee Happy Hour

In the weeks leading up to the annual offer (and for a few after), rewards members who visit a participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, or Stripes store between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. can score any Slurpee flavor for only $1-but only for a limited time.

According to the press release, the Slurpee Drink Happy Hour promotion is currently available through Tuesday, August 25.

7-Eleven is also offering its 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members a special 59-cent deal on its Big Gulp drinks all month long, should you prefer a dirty soda over a slush or Slurpee. This deal is valid now through Tuesday, June 23.

7-Eleven Gets Exclusive New AriZona Iced Tea Flavor

The company also revealed it's getting a "refreshing spin on a fan-favorite" and dropping an exclusive flavor of AriZona Iced Tea: Blue Raspberry Slurpee. The new cans are expected to be available at participating 7-Eleven stores nationwide in the coming weeks (if they're not already in the fridges, that is) and will presumably offer a strong tea taste with hints of blue raspberry.
