Easy Microwave Fudge

Minnesota native Jean Busse of Lexington, N.C., shares this fudge recipe.
Ingredients:
12 ounces Ghirardelli dark chocolate bittersweet chips (or milk chocolate or semisweet chocolate)
½ cup creamy peanut butter
One 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
½ cup chopped nuts, optional
Instructions:
Melt chocolate in the microwave for 2½ minutes, stirring during and after. Mix in the peanut butter and condensed milk. Microwave 1½ minutes and stir well. Mix in nuts, if using, and pour into a buttered 8- or 9-inch square pan. Cool. Cut into bite-size pieces.
Per piece: 50 calories; 1 gram protein; 7 grams carbohydrates; 2 grams fat (1 saturated, 1 monounsaturated, 0 poly- unsaturated); 2 milligrams cholesterol; 17 milligrams sodium; 0 fiber; 4 grams sugar; 41 percent calories from fat
