Name: Roger Federico Villanueva Jr.
Synopsis: Villanueva, 26, of Turlock had prior confrontations, including physical fights, with the suspects. During a party on the 200 block of Angelus Street to commemorate a victim from a prior shooting, Villanueva and Alvaro Saldana confronted each other just after 6 p.m. Ray Gutierrez intervened. Authorities say Gutierrez and Saldana shot Villanueva. Investigators said the men lured Villanueva, who had recently moved from Turlock to Gilbert, Ariz., to the back yard of an abandoned home before shooting him.
Motivation: Gang involvement, prior confrontations
Suspect: Police arrested Raymond Gutierrez and Alvaro Saldana, both of Turlock, on suspicion of murder.
