Mobile clinic provides basic medical care for Stanislaus, Merced county residents

A free mobile clinic was held Thursday at Faith Home Teen Challenge in Ceres, where people in the region received basic medical care.

The clinic provided primary care, health education, wellness checks and flu vaccinations for people living in the Stanislaus and Merced county areas. Legacy Health Endowment funds the program with support from Castle Family Health Centers and UCSF-Fresno Medical Residency Program.

There will be monthly clinics open to the public in May and June at the following locations, all from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.:

  • Thursday, May 23, Denair Unified School District main office, 3460 Lester Road
  • Wednesday, May 29, United Samaritans Foundation, 220 S. Broadway, Turlock
  • Tuesday, June 25, United Samaritans Foundation 220 S. Broadway, Turlock
  • Thursday, June 27, HOST House, 405 S. Fourth St., Patterson
