Crews respond to small fire in downtown Modesto storage business
Several engines responded Friday night for what turned out to be a burning sleeping bag in a 10th Street storage business, the Modesto Fire Department reported.
It was dispatched at about 6 p.m. to Downtown Self Storage, at 10th and M streets. The sleeping bag was found on the third floor and quickly extinguished, Battalion Chief Randy Anderson said.
The cause is under investigation.
