A typical summer crowd took to Woodward Reservoir to cool off from Sunday’s heat.

It was in the upper 90s as of mid-afternoon, the National Weather Service reported. It forecast a peak of 103 on Tuesday and then upper 90s later in the week.

The Weather Service repeated its summer advice: Stay hydrated. Dress for the heat. Limit your time outside. Check on people and pets who might be at risk.
