Meghan Markle Reacts to 1st Emmy Nod for Netflix Show After Cancellation
Meghan Markle is officially an Emmy Awards nominee.
Meghan's With Love, Meghan earned recognition in the Outstanding Lifestyle Program category at the 2026 Daytime Emmys alongside A Different Breed, George to the Rescue, The Motherhood and The Wizard of Paws.
"A huge congratulations to the amazing crew, producers, and team who worked on With Love, Meghan on @netflix," Meghan, 44, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, July 15. "We are nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lifestyle Series!"
The With Love honor marks Meghan's first-ever nomination.
Meghan debuted her eponymous lifestyle series in March 2025, showcasing her passion for cooking, gardening and DIY projects. (Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, inked a multimillion-dollar deal with Netflix after leaving their duties as senior working royals in 2020.)
After two seasons of With Love, news broke in October 2025 that the docuseries was canceled.
"As ever is grateful for Netflix's partnership through launch and our first year," a spokesperson for Meghan's As Ever brand told Us in a statement. "We have experienced meaningful and rapid growth and As Ever is now ready to stand on its own. We have an exciting year ahead and can't wait to share more."
Months later, Netflix addressed cutting ties with Meghan's show.
"Meghan's passion for elevating everyday moments in beautiful yet simple ways inspired the creation of the As Ever brand, and we are glad to have played a role in bringing that vision to life," a Netflix rep told Us in a March statement. "As it was always intended, Meghan will continue growing the brand and take it into its next chapter independently, and we look forward to celebrating how she continues to bring joy to households around the world."
On the heels of her Netflix show's debut, Meghan launched lifestyle brand As Ever.
"I had secured As Ever as a name in 2022, and then as everything started to evolve last year, and bringing in a partner the size that it was, it was just so interesting," she recalled on an April 2025 episode of her "Confessions of a Female Founder" podcast. "You remember, I said, ‘I like American Riviera as an umbrella,' and then be able to have verticals beneath it. And maybe have the ‘Orchard' really small. But when that's not feasible … suddenly it became this word salad. I didn't love that so much."
The Duchess of Sussex initially introduced her company as American Riviera Orchard before changing the name to As Ever.
"I was like, ‘OK, let's go back to the thing that I've always loved. Let's use the name that I protected for a reason that had sort of been under wraps,'" Meghan said at the time. "And then we were able to focus in the quiet and put our heads down and build on something that no one was sniffing around to even see about. It was really just helpful to have that quiet period."
The 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be announced Friday, October 30.
