Arts in brief: Tuolumne County Arts Alliance
The Tuolumne County Arts Alliance is launching an online Tuolumne County artist directory.
The new Web-based application has been created as a tool to help local artists get discovered. The directory will allow artists to register on the site and the public to search for artists.
Artists can upload bios, samples of their work, contact information and more. The public will be able to browse the directory, search for rates, classes and more.
Current TCAA members will be added automatically, and nonmembers can apply to be listed for $10.
The TCAA will host an artists town hall from 3:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Stage 3 Theatre in Sonora. Artists and the public are invited to attend the free event with wine and refreshments to learn more about the new directory and network.
