It’s more than half over, so don’t waste your chance to catch the 2026 Stanislaus County Fair.

For some cooler news about its final days, the weather forecast indicates this week’s triple-digit-temperatures will give way to a more pleasant experience.

Thursday though Sunday will find highs in the mid- to lower 90s in the Modesto region, with evenings also cooling down, according to the National Weather Service.

But no matter the weather, there’s plenty left coming to fairgrounds in Turlock, including big-name music artists, popular motorsports, rodeos and more.

The ever-craved fair food isn’t going anywhere through Sunday, nor will the midway’s carnival rides for children, or those for more adventurous adults.

Livestock, exhibits and other fair fun will be there until its closing, too.

Here’s a look at the free stage concerts planned Thursday through Sunday, along with arena events.

Concerts at The Modelo Free Stage are free with fair admission and begin at 8:30 p.m.:

July 16: Ashanti

July 17: Mayday Parade

July 18: Ying Yang Twins

July 19: Banda Carnaval

Events at the FoodMaxx Arena begin at 6:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted, and have ticket prices in addition to fair admission (prices listed are for online purchases, which include extra fees):

July 16: Monster Trucks 2: Steel Stampede, $20.34 general, $22.60 reserved, $56.50 box seat

July 17: PRCA Rodeo, $13.56 general, $16.95 reserved, $56.50 box seat

July 18: Motocross, $13.56 general, $16.95 reserved, $56.50 box seat

July 19: Humpz ‘N Hornz – Hispanic Rodeo, $11.30, $56.50 box seat

The fairgrounds and buildings open at 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday; noon Saturday and Sunday. Buildings close nightly at 11 p.m., the grounds nightly at midnight.

General admission is $15; $5 ages 7 to 12 and for seniors; free ages 5 and under.

The Stanislaus County Fairground is at 900 N. Broadway in Turlock. For more, see www.stancofair.com.
