A different kind of comedy show coming to Modesto theater. Who’s playing, when

If you’re a fan of improvisational comedy, Modesto’s Prospect Theater has a treat in store.

The theater will host the ModPlayers Improv Show on Friday, July 24.

The ModPlayers troupe plans a night “of fun-filled improv performance at PTP’s Artist Lab,” according to the theater website. “This talented group of improvisers will whip up scenes inspired by audience suggestions, zany themes, and fun games to make improv magic, right before your very eyes.”

The show follows along the lines of TV’s “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” and “Dropout TV,” according to the site.

The show is set for 7:30 p.m. July 24 at Prospect Theater’s Artist Lab, 1218 K St., Modesto. Tickets are $15. It’s suggested that people reserve tickets in advance.
