It will be a double-the-viewing-pleasure month for fans of Modesto-bred Timothy Olyphant.

The Emmy-nominated actor will be in two new streaming series premiering in July, including a co-lead role in one.

First up is “The Five-Star Weekend,” which begins Thursday, July 9, on Peacock. The show stars Jennifer Garner as a food blogger, Hollis Shaw, who is reeling from the death of her husband, according to a story on Deadline.com.

Shaw “gathers her best friends from all phases of life to help her grieve and move forward,” the story says.

Olyphant plays Jack Finnigan, Hollis’ first boyfriend, according to a blog on the Peacock website. He’ll appear in one episode. “Five-Star Weekend” reunites Garner and Olyphant, who starred in the 2006 romantic comedy “Catch and Release.”

After that, the Beyer High graduate will co-star in “Lucky,” alongside Anya Taylor-Joy. The first two episodes will debut on Apple TV+ on July 15, with new ones released Wednesdays through mid-August.

The series follows Taylor-Joy’s titular character, a woman “who left behind the life of crime she was raised in years ago and now embraces her darker criminal side one final time in a desperate attempt to escape her past,” another story on Deadline.com says.

Olyphant plays Lucky’s father, John Armstrong.

Olyphant was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2011 as best actor in a drama for his starring role in the FX series “Justified,” in 2019 as part of the team behind “Deadwood: The Movie” and in 2021 for guest actor in a drama series for “The Mandalorian.”

Known for his lead roles in “Deadwood” and “Justified,” he reprised his character, Raylan Givens, for the latter’s limited return in “Justified: City Primeval.” Olyphant also stars in “Alien: Earth.” He’ll be back in an expanded role in the second season of “Stick” on Apple TV, expected to be released later this year. He has several other film and TV roles in the works, according to IMDB.com.
