More country music is coming to Modesto’s Fruit Yard Amphitheater, with a little rock and rap as part of the mix.
Brantley Gilbert will perform his own brand of country rock at the Modesto venue on Aug. 13. Tickets go on sale to the public 10 a.m. Friday, April 10, for his “The Real American Tour” date.
A press release called Gilbert “one of the godfathers of country’s modern rock-and-rap edge.”
“Known for bringing intensity, grit and heart to every performance, Gilbert has built one of the most loyal fan bases in country music with a sound that fuses Southern rock, country storytelling and modern edge,” the release said.
The singer-songwriter has seven No. 1 hits including “Bottoms Up,” “Country Must Be Country Wide,” “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do,” “One Hell of An Amen” and “What Happens In A Small Town.”
Gilbert has toured with artists such Willie Nelson, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney and Nickelback, the release said.
He was among the performers at conservative group Turning Point USA’s alternative halftime show during Super Bowl, headlined by Kid Rock.
Gilbert joins Warren Zeiders (April 22), Scotty McCreary (May 8), Mitchell Tenpenny (May 23), Cole Swindell (June 11) and Ty Myers (Aug. 21) on the 2026 Fruit Yard lineup.
Officially called The Fruit Yard Chicken Ranch Casino Resort Amphitheater, it’s at 7948 Yosemite Blvd. There is lawn and reserved seating to accommodate about 3,500 people.
