The Modesto Community Concert Association has announced its 2015-16 season, with five Sunday afternoon concerts running from September to April.

MCCA has staged concerts since 1950 and is a resident company at the Gallo Center for the Arts, where all the new season’s concerts will be held. Subscriptions to all five shows are $75-$100 ($10 for youths through high school); individual tickets are $20-$30 ($15 youths). Tickets are available at www.galloarts.org or the Gallo Center box office, 1000 I St., Modesto.

Here are MCCA’s upcoming shows:

▪ Sept. 13: Jim Curry, who performs a tribute show of the late John Denver’s many hits. He headlines the John Denver Memorial Tribute in Pacific Grove every year. He was also the singer’s voice in CBS-TV’s movie “Take Me Home: The John Denver Story.”

▪ Nov. 15: Jan Daley in a tribute to Bob Hope. Daley was Hope’s “go to” singer during his tours to entertain the troops in Vietnam, according to a press release. Her show shares stories, photos, film clips and songs, including hits by Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer and George Gershwin.

▪ Jan. 17: Red Priest, led by Piers Adams, offers a flamboyant take on baroque music in a crossover between the early music and rock. Red Priest offers musical experiments that show audiences how to rethink masterpieces.

▪ March 20: Columbia Kicks Big Band, led by Rod Harris, offers big band music, Dixieland classics, Latin jazz, salsa tunes and disco. The band performs regularly through the Columbia Jazz Series of Columbia College in Sonora.

▪ April 17: Two-time Juno-winning banjoist and composer Jayme Stone, performing music inspired by sounds from around the world. Stone bridges folk, jazz and chamber music.
