Crooner Chris Isaak is always a draw when he performs in the Modesto region. He’s coming back for a show at the Gallo Center for the Arts. Central West Ballet also returns with an original dance production. These are just two of the entertainment options set in the area Feb. 28-March 6.

Over his 40-year career, Grammy-nominated singer and actor Chris Isaak has performed to sold-out crowds globally with his band Silvertone. This Modesto favorite and Stockton native will bring his hits – including “Wicked Game,” “Somebody’s Crying” and “Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing” – to the Gallo Center. Limited tickets were available.

Central West Ballet

“Clue”
Two nights of the stage production “Clue: A mansion. A murder. A mystery.” will tour into the Gallo Center. The comedy is based on the 1985 movie and inspired by the classic Hasbro board game Clue.

Count Basie Orchestra
The Legendary Count Basie Orchestra will bring its 90th anniversary tour to the Gallo Center. “In the vast and vibrant history of jazz, only one bandleader exists whose legacy continues to resonate through sold-out concerts worldwide, even three decades after his passing: William James “Count” Basie...,” the center’s website says. For its anniversary tour, the orchestra is joined by jazz singer Nnenna Freelon.

Foreigner and Journey tribute
Forejour – Tribute to Foreigner & Journey will bring the music of both classic bands to the State Theatre. Forejour’s multimedia show goes back to the height of MTV, with the band performing live soundtracks to videos shown on screen. The setlist includes hits from Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” to Foreigner’s “I Want To Know What Love Is” and more.

Clean comedy
Three clean comedians from around the country bring their humor to the State Theatre for YFC Comedy Night 2026.
