If you’re in search of a 10-day party, good news: The Stanislaus County Fair is returning to oblige.

Set for July 11-20, the annual expo will offer plenty of live entertainment, arena events, carnival rides, food, livestock and more for children and adults.

The fair usually draws more than 200,000 people annually, and last year was no different, with 240,000 attending, according to the 2025 media guide.

A lot of folks show up for the fair food, a rite of summer in the valley. More than 40 concessionaires will serve up “everything from Assyrian food to Asian Fusion to Bacon Bacon Bacon,” the guide said. “Whether you are looking for all-American corn dogs or cultural temptations like chile verde burritos, you’ll find them all.”

Expect a large midway with plenty of carnival rides with and without high thrills.

There will be about 90 commercial exhibits with information and products for sale from local organizations and businesses.

This year’s competitive exhibits feature more than 30,000 entries in three categories: adult exhibits, youth exhibits, and 4-H/FFA & Grange exhibits.

There also will be plenty of livestock and animal competitions and auctions.
