Cummings is coming — popular comedian to perform in Turlock. Find out when and where
Comedian Whitney Cummings will make her Turlock Community Theatre debut in February, and tickets are on sale now.
The Feb. 8 show is part of her Big Baby Tour, bringing all new material inspired by her insights into motherhood. Cummings welcomed a son in December 2023 and, with her signature wit and observational humor, shares her experience navigating the journey.
Fans first got to know Cummings as one of the pranksters on the MTV show “Punk’d” in 2004, the same year she started performing stand-up. In 2007, Variety Magazine named her one of the top 10 comics to watch, which led to her regular appearance as a roundtable guest on Chelsea Handler’s talk show, “Chelsea Lately.”
Cummings’ cutting comedic style earned her a spot at the Comedy Central Roast of Joan Rivers in 2009, and she returned to roast David Hasselhoff in 2010 and Donald Trump in 2011.
Cummings turned her attention to television by co-creating the popular sitcom “2 Broke Girls” and producing and starring in her own show, “Whitney,” in which she played herself. She’s also acted in several movies, including “Unforgettable,” “How It Ends,” “The Opening Act” and the independent film “The Female Brain,” which she starred in and directed.
Today, Cummings hosts a podcast, “Good For You,” which features discussions with her comedic friends on various topics.
For her 7:30 p.m. Turlock show, ticket prices range from $33 to $64. There is a VIP meet-and-greet opportunity with limited availability. Tickets can be purchased on the Turlock Community Theatre website, www.turlocktheatre.org
The theater is 1574 E. Canal Drive. For more information, call 209-668-1169 or email info@turlocktheatre.org.
